At AUVSI Unmanned Systems 2012, VersaLogic launched a new form factor that packs a ton of computing power into a package about the size of a credit card: the Falcon Embedded Processing Unit (EPU). The hardware provides a range of interfaces typically found on larger boards. The small form factor and low-power Intel Atom E6x0T processor on-board make it ideal for use in today's UAVs, which are getting smaller and more capable.
