Many of today's UAVs are getting smaller and more capable. We saw a great example of this at AUVSI Unmanned Systems 2012 with the SQ-4 RECON micro unmanned aerial vehicle from BCB International. The VTOL quadrotor weighs only about 7 ounces and is packed with a full suite of sensors. Ivan Reedman from Torquing Robotics also tells us about an even smaller prototype as well as their Spartan C4i helmet-mounted neural interface control system.
