Today's UAVs are getting smaller and smaller, and consequently size, weight and power drain of on-board components is constrained. GE Intelligent Platforms is meeting these challenges with their ADEPT3000 Automatic Video Tracker as well as the newly announced MPI3ES Miniature Image Stabilizer, shrinking the form factor to microprocessor size while still offering high performance image and video processing.

The ADEPT5000 6U board shown in the video is the latest high performance tracker (also be available in other formats including 3U VPX)from GE Intelligent Platforms; it is not old technology. The video compares this with the new ADEPT3000 tracker purely to illustrate how, for this lower cost, lower perforamnce, SWAP optimized device, we have dramtically shrunk the size of the board.
