Mauricio: given the price tag of EUR 60.000 per 5.12GB drives from an Irish site (check for SSD Fusion IO in Europe), offering the Octal, I would say that not too many companies will be able to plug multiple cards together. At 6GB/s read and 4.4GB/s write, and 1.120.000 IOPS, it would be interesting to see which servers can work with a raid of these.

Very cool product for HPC servers. The description above states it plugs into one PCIe slot. However, the form factor of the card looks to be about three cards wide. Given the physical space that it takes up (i.e., likely taking up more than one slot) and its likely significant power consumption profile, one will only be able to plug a specific number of these cards into a HPC server motherboard.
